The Grace Downtown Women’s Leadership Council (WLC) is a ministry and leadership team of seven to eight women tasked with caring for the women of our congregation.

The mission of the WLC is to bring women together to cultivate spiritual growth, foster meaningful friendships, and affirm their unique role in bringing about God's kingdom.

**January 2023 - The WLC is currently accepting recommendations for women who can serve on the WLC.**

The WLC engages this mission in three areas:

  1. leadership and vision
  2. programming and coordination; and
  3. support in shepherding.

They advise, assist, and support our congregation’s elders, or Session, by representing and communicating the unique perspectives of women at Grace Downtown. The WLC organizes and coordinates gatherings such as prayer meetings, an annual women’s retreat, workshops, and fellowship events. Lastly, the WLC provides assistance to members of Grace Downtown in discipleship, prayer, and support.
