We tend to be selective when we decide what parts of our lives we let people near: Different groups of friends and colleagues get to see different corners of our lives. And we do the same thing to God, letting him close to some of our friendships, some aspects of our work and family, but not others. However, in the last hours of his life, Jesus showed us just how near to every corner of our life God wants to be.
