Seeking a roommate or to join a house in DC or the metro area. I’m 26 and work for Lockheed Martin. I’m from Indiana and graduated from Indiana University. I have a dog, he’s an Australian Sheppard named Teddy that is 3 years old and is extremely lovable and very social and used to living in group housing and apartments. I like having a busy schedule, outdoor activies, and heading to happy hour or a new restaurant with friends. I’m hoping to find something for max $850 including utilities. If you want to hunt for a place together, or think I could be a good fit as a roommate e-mail me at leah.lattimer@gmail.com.
My name is Zach. I am in desperate need of a place to rent. I start my internship in the Rayburn building with Congressman Manzullo on wed. Sept. 8. I am looking for a place with several male roommates that want christian community but also cheap rent.
Near the Hill would be preferable, but somewhere with a place to park cheaply and near a metro stop would be great too.
I hope to have utilities included in the price. I am not exactly sure how much rent typically is here but i would really like to find something for $600. That would obviously not include the rest of the cost that my roommates would pay.
I would like bedrooms but am open to studio style as well.
I am a 25 yo christian female in need of temporary housing for Sept 25-January 30. I am a 4th year medical student and will be rotating at GWU hospital, st. Elizabeth’s, and Walter Reed. I probably won’t be home very much. I would love to rent a place under $500/mo if that is possible.
Hey,
I’m looking for a CM roommate to share a one bedroom apartment in the Northwest area of DC. I haven’t found a place yet but I’m hoping to move into an apartment sometime this week. I would prefer to try and keep the rent under $800, which I think is doable if splitting a one bedroom. If sharing a one bedroom, I figure one of us could take the bedroom and the other could take the living room. I would like to sign a six month lease, but I can be somewhat flexible with this.
A little about me: I’m 26 and just finished my Master’s in International Politics at American University. I will be interning with a nonprofit in Dupont during the fall term. My general interests are sports, politics, international affairs, The Office, etc. I’m career-minded and not a huge partier these days but I do go out occasionally and like to stay active with baseball games, traveling, and things like that.
Like I said, I’m trying to move into a place this week, so if you’re interested in trying to find a place then get back to me as soon as you can and we can talk about some potential housing options.
Thanks,
Connor
I just moved to VA two weeks ago with a roommate, but my roommate’s job fell through and she must leave. I can’t afford our rent on my own, so I am moving out Tuesday, August 31st and am in need of housing ASAP. I am a mid-twenties CF, clean, quiet, and fun. I am looking for a house or apt to share with other CF seeking to enjoy the Lord and impact the community around us. Or, I could rent a room from a family and share in housekeeping/childcare/petcare. All of this is short notice, I know, but any ideas or referrals would me much appreciated! Either email me or call me on my cell, 864-561-6533. Thanks!
Seeking CF roommates or to join a house in DC or Marland (inside the loop) area. I’m 26 and work for Lockheed Martin in Maryland. I’m from Indiana and graduated from Indiana University. I have a dog, he’s an Australian Sheppard named Teddy that is 3 years old and is extremely lovable and very social and used to living in group housing and apartments, so looking for pet-friendly people!
I love DC and cram my schedule to be as busy as possible doing fun things. I enjoy meeting new people, outdoor activies, and hanging out with friends. If you want to hunt for a place together, or think I could be a good fit as a new roommate e-mail me at leah.lattimer@gmail.com.
I am seeking a new place because I have been subleasing and my lease runs out at the end of August. I am seeking some CM roommates to help lower rent cost and increase fellowship. I just moved to DC, so I’m very flexible regarding location. I would prefer a place that is clean, close to transportation, and reasonably priced. Generally I am interested in sports, running, and financial and political current events.
My name is Meg and I am 26 and a preschool teacher. I recently moved here from Colorado and will be
commuting to Gainesville, Va each day to teach. I am currently looking to live in Alexandria.
Ideally I am trying to find a room that my good friend Lacey and I can share. We have known each other 6 years, met at Liberty University, and both need a place by/around Sept 1st. We both have busy schedules and won’t often be home at the same time so we don’t mind sharing a room dorm style. I would love to talk with you if you feel like this might be good fit for you.

I’m a member of a PCA church in Texas who just got accepted to an internship with NPR. I’d be in DC from September to December and am looking for a room to rent or a bunch of fellow Christian ladies who need a temporary roommate. I’d be willing to pay some rent money or help with housework or child care in exchange.
I’m pretty neat, like to keep things clean, am reasonably quiet, not allergic to cats or dogs, and would love a community of fellow believers to hang out with while I’m in DC.
I am IJM’s newest aftercare intern for their fall semester from September-December.
I am looking for a room, a shared room, a family’s home or a group of girls’ who need a temporary roommate.
If you or someone you know needs some extra cash flow from a rented room, I am more than willing to provide them with some rent money!
Thanks for your consideration. I know that Jesus will provide something for me… I just hope He doesn’t cut it too close
He is always faithful.
My cousin and I are looking for a place starting late August/early September, somewhere between Dupont Circle and the Hill. She’ll be working for an NGO and would like to bike to work; I’ll be in grad school and I’m hoping to be able to walk to Dupont.
We’re hoping to spend no more than $1700 between the two of us and we’d really like a place with a washer/dryer if possible. If anyone has a place to rent, please keep us in mind.
Best, Mia
I have been living in NOVA for 2 years, and took part in a Fellows program at McLean Presbyterian which landed me an internship, then full-time job at the Republican Governors Association. I have now caught the bug to move downtown, but my rent is great in Arlington right near the East Falls Church Metro. Looking for a family/group of guys to move in with through December. After elections, I am not sure where I will be working, hence the short term nature of my request. I would like to be in the sub-700 rent/utilities range, but have some flexibility. If I move downtown, I will likely become a member at GraceDC. Please get in touch if you are interested in learning more about me, or think you have a place in mind for me.
Thanks,
Kyle
Hi I am looking to rent in the Arlington, Falls Church, Vienna, Fairfax areas. I am looking to spend between $500-$650/month including utilities. I am also looking for a place that is located on the metro line as I do not have a car. I am needing a room by October 1st as my current lease ends September 30th.
Thanks
Dear Potential Roomie:
I am a CM returning to the US after four years in China in order to study Econ and China Studies at SAIS from mid-August/Sept 2010 – Dec 2011. Ideally, I would like some housing with walking access to SAIS at Dupont Circle, or within biking distance or extremely convenient public transit (probably between Van Ness and Chinatown, on the red line, or a direct bus). I am not at all familiar with DC so you’ll know better than I if you qualify as such.
My price range is “the lower the better”, given that I’m living off student loans. My max is about $1000/mo, but would much prefer something in the $700+ range (obviously). I am happy to consider most types of living situations, whether a studio, 2bd/1ba, group house, or someone’s basement.
I enjoy hiking, camping, ultimate frizbiz, soccer, playing music (piano/guitar), BBQs, card/board games, and breakfast for dinner. But sadly, thanks to allergies, cats and dogs are not on the list. Let me know if you or someone you know might have a place in their home and their heart for someone like me!
Best,
Matt

Hi. I’m looking for a nice, clean Christian male who is serious about his faith to get an apartment together. I recently accepted a new job offer in Crystal City. I’d like to get a place in North Arlington or Crystal City and move in by August 23. It’s important for me to get a place near a metro stop and live in a highly walkable area…I don’t want to be car dependent to do everyday things.
About me: I’m a 27 year old Korean American male recently discharged from the Army after serving 4 years. I’m a college grad. I am clean, respectful of others’ spaces, and did I mention CLEAN? I’m easygoing, have an even temperament, and enjoy cooking.
Looking for: A faithful CM w/ a steady job who can afford up to $1300/month + his share of utilities. It will probably be less, though. $1300 is the max. Let’s face it…getting a nice place in the Arlington area is expensive. We can definitely discuss your share of the rent. I ask that you respect others’ spaces, be a non-smoker, and be clean.
Please be ready to commit for at least a year. Your name will be on the lease as well.
I am absolutely willing to do all the legwork necessary to secure an apartment. All I ask is that you be committed and reachable.
I’m looking to live with CM that are serious about their faith and professions. I’m outgoing and in my early twenties, and looking for some like minded gentlemen as room mates. I’m easy going, and like to be spontaneous, but I also like chore lists and other methods to keep our potential home clean and run well. A home between $500 and $800 is within my budget.

Hello,
My name is Mark and I am moving to the DC area in August. I am a CM, mid-twenties, quiet. I am looking for a shared apartment/house (prefered all inclusive) starting September 1. If you are looking for someone to rent a room or share a place, please email me at mkozma1145@gmail.com.
Thank you very much.
I am looking to pay rent between $600 and $800/month, and I would really like to live in Columbia Heights. I’m moving to DC in early September and am probably gonna start going to the Grace DC church plant in Columbia Heights when I get there. I just graduated Northwestern University with a double major in Psychology and Middle East Studies, and was really active in RUF-Northwestern. In DC, I will have a job as a lab manager for the psychology labs on an interdisciplinary government project studying Middle East negotiations at the University of Maryland.

Hello!
I’m a CF looking for a place to live beginning August 1st-ish. I recently moved to DC and am currently subletting in DC. I have no preference for an area so long as it is walking distance from the metro. I would like to stay under $600 per month and wouldn’t mind sharing a room or even staying on a couch. I am severely allergic to cats so unfortunately I cannot co-habitat with them. I like to be out and about and make new friends, I also like to cook. Please email me if you are interested

Hi everyone,
My name is Marisol and I am helping coordinate housing for an awesome group of immigrant youth activists. They will be in Washington DC from July 14-July 21st and are in desperate need for a couch to crash on! If you can help house anywhere from 2-10 youth or know of a place that can host up to 200 young people for free, please dont hesitate in contacting me!
Thanks,
Marisol
Hi! I’m moving to DC in early August for a job and would like to find a CF roommate who either has a place and needs a roommate, or who is also looking for a place, within walking distance to an Arlington metro(Clarendon/Courthouse, Ballston/Virginia Square, Pentagon City/Crystal City–I’m really open to all of those areas).
I have a dog so I would need to find someone ok with that (I would of course pay pet deposit and pet fees). My dog is an extremely well-behaved female chocolate lab who has never met a person or dog she doesn’t like.
I’m moving from Dallas and like to hang out with friends, see and do new things, bake and be outside if at all possible.
Anyway, if you are interested, please email me at tara.rohde@gmail.com. Hope to hear from you!
CM new to DC. I’m a recent graduate of Washington State University and will be starting Virginia Tech’s Graduate Architecture program based out of Old Town Alexandria.
Looking for an inexpensive room with either a family or roommates. I don’t have a car so I need to be either within easy bike access to Alexandria or be able to easily get to the metro (the school is just off the blue or yellow lines).
I have a wide range of interests including theology, philosophy, painting, photography, hiking, skiing, bicycling, swing dancing, and travel. Music is a huge part of my life I play 7 instruments as well as sing (most of my stuff consists of books and musical instruments).
I am in general a very relaxed and easy going person and really don’t need much. I’m fairly independent but I like to have fun and love to meet new people. I’m fine with animals or children and I try to be tidy. I am 23 years old, single, I don’t smoke, I do enjoy good beer in moderation.
The graduate program will be very intensive and has many evening classes so I will likely be coming in late and sleeping late as well, I can sleep through just about anything though.
My classes will be starting August 23rd so I hope to be able to move in sometime during the week of the 16th.
