I am a 23-year-old male, generally unobtrusive.
My lease in Arlington ends in May, and I will need a place to live as of June 1. I need a minimum one year lease, with male or female roommate. I have my own furniture, so I do not need anything furnished, and am looking to pay a maximum of $700/month including utilities. I’ll live anywhere in DC that is within 10-15 minutes walking distance of a metro station, in any neighborhood in NW, as far as 10th street NE and SE. I’d prefer not to live in SW DC.
I am very tolerant. What goes on in your bedroom is your business. All I ask is that you keep it quiet and legal. I need someone who will be willing to split household chores (this has been an issue for me) and not overly reclusive. I’m pretty friendly and I hope you are too. In any case, let me know if you know of any housing availability or if you’d like to room with me and search for a place together. Hope to hear from you soon!
Hi I’m Suzanne.
I currently live and work in MD. I go to church in MD and DC (Grace). I’m in a place that was I think supposed to be temporary but its been over a year. I’m looking for a change, possibly room mates because I’ve been on my own for awhile.
I don’t have a car right now but hoping to change that soon, but in the interest of that I need to be close to public transportation for work and other everyday activities. My job is at the end of the blue line in Largo, MD. I don’t have any pets but would like a pet friendly home.
I was raised in a Christian home and have a personal relationship with Jesus. So as far as room mates, I seek that same bond.
I pay $600 right now and could probably go up a couple hundred.
Hi,
I’m a CF who is working part-time as a teacher in DC, while also looking for other full-time, permanent work. Because I am in a time of transition, I am seeking a room that I could rent on a month-to-month basis and is priced affordably ($650 or cheaper). I am also seeking a location that is accessible to the metro. I am a kind and respectful woman and would enjoy living with other kind, faithful women.
Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you.
I’ve just moved to the area from Boston and am working at an international health care organization in Rosslyn. I’m a 22yr old female and attended Park St Church in Boston while I was at school there. I’m a very easy-going and clean roommate, and I am hoping to find someone similar!
Right now I’m looking for a room or a 1br studio or apartment for a month to month or short-term lease so that I can get settled in the city and get to know it a little better before I commit to a year lease! My budget is *ideally* no more than $1000/month for rent & utilities.
Please send me an email if you think you have something that might work
Peace,
Lauren
Hi,
My brother and I are moving to DC from the midwest, and we are excited about Grace DC. We are currently searching for a 2 bedroom apartment near the metro, as we will not bring a car.
We have been looking near Eastern Market, U and 14th streets, and some neighborhoods in between. Let us know if you have a place to rent, or know of one.
Thanks
Alex

We will be getting married in June and moving in January for me to finish seminary. We’re looking for a 1br or anything else appropriate, at $1200 or below. Please let me know if you can help! Thanks.
I am a recent college grad who will be interning in DC from early February-early/mid May.
I’m looking for housing, and would ideally like to be in a vibrant Christian community. Other neat perks would be living close to a metro station or at the very least a bus stop that would take me to one.
I’ll be working on Capitol Hill, near the Federal Center SW metro station (Orange and Blue), and near L’Enfant Plaza metro station (Yellow, Green, Orange, and Blue lines).
Thanks! God bless.
Paulina
My name is Dominic and I have a somewhat unusual request.
I’m a 22-year-old from Charlotte, NC, and I’ve accepted an internship with NPR’s “Talk of the Nation” which starts on January 4. My problem is that I have very little money, no car, and my internship is unpaid.
Put bluntly, I need a place or places to stay for free until April 23 and daily transportation to a metro station. I could pay for my own food and living expenses, but I don’t have anything to give for rent.
I go to a PCA church in Charlotte (Christ Central), which is why I’m posting here. I would be in your debt for any help you could provide. My e-mail address is dmesparza@gmail.com and my cell is 704-491-5759. Thank you so much for reading.
Best Regards,
Dominic Ruiz-Esparza
I am searching for a place to stay for 4 months (end of Jan until beginning of May). I have been offered an unpaid internship so I am hoping to find a decently priced place to stay. I am open to living with CM or CF, I get along with almost everyone
I would prefer a place near public transportation and with a place to park my car.
Please email me – tracy.piersma@gmail.com – if you are in need of a roommate and with information about your place.
Thank you
ALOHA,
I am a 24 yr. old Christian male looking for a place to rent in or near the D.C. area and close to public transportation. I am moving away from my home on the beautiful island of Maui, Hawaii to intern as a Fellow with the Polaris Project in January 2010. I recently graduated with bachelors in Addiction Studies and Theology. I am clean, respectful, and an easy-going kind of guy. I enjoy surfing, hiking, reading, and playing my ukulele.
Please email me if anything is available.

Hi,
My name is Jean, and I got an internship with a Christian NGO near the Crystal City metro stop from Jan – April 22nd. The internship is unpaid, and since I only recently graduated, I’m looking for some affordable housing within public transportation commuting distance.
Please let me know if you have anything available via e-mail.
Thank you!
