I am a college student from Dordt College (a small Christian college in Iowa) looking for housing in the DC area for the summer months. I am currently interning and studying with an off-campus program here in the city and hoping to extend that internship through the summer (mid-May to mid August). I am looking for a Christian family/couple willing to rent a room for the summer months. I think the opportunity to ask to spend the summer surrounded by a Christian family (sharing the same ideals as myself) is too good to pass up. I’m sure my roommates would tell you I am a fairly easy person to live with and always keep my side of the room clean
Please contact me is you are interested in renting out a room!
I am a CF seeking housing on Capitol Hill from the beginning of May until the end of June. I am looking for roommates who are fun loving Christians who are easy to get along with:)
Interning this summer with Indiana Representative Mike Pence on Capitol Hill.
Quiet and respectful, but thoughtful and outgoing.
Attend small Christian university in rural Indiana: Taylor University. Grown up in conservative Christian family in Muncie, IN.
Need housing from May 21-August 7 or 14.
I don’t need parking. Prefer own bathroom and privacy.
Rent limit ~$1000 a month. Closer to Capitol Hill and/or metro station the better. Thanks.
Hey my name is Courtney and I have just recently gotten a job here in the Alexandra area. I am looking for a place to stay with a fun group of girls. I am 20 years old and I have a full time job and I am a part-time college student. I like to keep busy but I always make time for the Lord and those around me. If you are looking for a roommate or have any questions please contact me via email. Thank you so much. Courtney
Hi! My name is Ngofeen, and I am a graduate student at the University of Pittsburgh. I am studying international development, and I will be doing an internship in DC for the summer. I am in need of housing near a metro stop by which I could easily access the Crystal City stop. If you have a place available (below $900/month) or need a subleaser/roommate for that time period, please contact me. I am 22-yr old Christian male, and I would love to live with other brothers in Christ.
Thanks a ton!

Currently living on Capitol Hill in the Christian Woman’s Home, but because of my age(I’m 35), I need to move by the morning of March 14th. I am seeking roommates who are like-minded Christians and a place that is within walking distance to a metro station on the Red Line. Rent affordability depends on what is included in the rent, i.e., internet, utilities, etc. Can afford between $600 – $800. Work at the U.S. Dept. of Labor.
Hi! My husband is starting medical school at Georgetown this coming fall and we are moving from CA. Looking for 1-2 BD place in either Georgetown, Glover Park, Rosslyn. Thanks!
Young newlyweds looking for accomodations in Arlington, VA. We are a tidy, accomodating, young Christian couple looking for a 1-2 BR apartment near metro around the $1000-1200 per month price range. Prefer to have washer/dryer with parking options. Love to bike, read interesting books, cook for friends (new and old!!), work with youth group and have a good laugh. Need to move in by the end of April!!
I’m an international student from Indonesia, currently studying in University of California – Davis. I’m interning at DC for the quarter (Jan-March 12). My dorm lease is about to end and I have to leave the dorm by March 13th.
I’m graduating at the end of this quarter and I’m planning to travel the east coast before returning to California.
I need a temporary place to stay for about one week (March 13-19, 2010). I don’t mind paying a portion of electricity/rent/water when I’m there and don’t mind sleeping on a sofa or on the floor.
I prefer a place in DC, or near DC that has access to the Metro – just because I don’t have a car. Prefer to stay with female.
Please email me (larissa.salaki@gmail.com) if you’re interested, or willing to open up your place.
Thank you,
Larissa
I’m looking for a place to rent near D.C. for my family for a one week vacation May 16-23rd.
We have 6 children ages 4 – 13, so there are 8 of us, but we have no objection to kids using sleeping bags on the floor if the place is small. One bedroom is enough (we’ll be out seeing the city most of the time anyway).
The more inexpensive the better.

I will be getting married in April and my husband-to-be and I are looking for a reasonably-priced basement apartment in the Northern Virginia area.
We are 3 women looking for housing in the Columbia Heights/Mt. Pleasant area of DC for May 1, 2010. Two of us attend Grace DC, and we are looking for a 3 bedroom, or a 4 bedroom home to rent. We all work in the DC metro area and would love to find a place to call home for the next year!
Please contact me if you have a home in this area that you are looking to rent.
Thanks,
Lindsay
I will begin seminary this summer and am in need of house for my wife and I. Thanks.
Young married couple looking to temporarily rent a basement room/ apartment in between renting and buying a place. Timeline would be between April through July of this year.
We are both young Christian professionals that work on the Hill.
We are a Christian family moving from Chicago in June after I graduate from grad school. We are praying that God will provide suitable housing for our family of three in the DC metro area. Before Chicago, my wife and I lived in the Glover Park neighborhood of DC. I will be working near the White House. We are looking for a safe neighborhood to move to and a minimum of two bedrooms (three preferred). Grace DC comes highly recommended from a pastor at our church in Chicago (Holy Trinity) that went to school with a pastor at Grace DC (Duke). Please contact me if you feel there is something that might fit our needs. Thank you!
I am a 23-year-old male, generally unobtrusive.
My lease in Arlington ends in May, and I will need a place to live as of June 1. I need a minimum one year lease, with male or female roommate. I have my own furniture, so I do not need anything furnished, and am looking to pay a maximum of $700/month including utilities. I’ll live anywhere in DC that is within 10-15 minutes walking distance of a metro station, in any neighborhood in NW, as far as 10th street NE and SE. I’d prefer not to live in SW DC.
I am very tolerant. What goes on in your bedroom is your business. All I ask is that you keep it quiet and legal. I need someone who will be willing to split household chores (this has been an issue for me) and not overly reclusive. I’m pretty friendly and I hope you are too. In any case, let me know if you know of any housing availability or if you’d like to room with me and search for a place together. Hope to hear from you soon!
Hi I’m Suzanne.
I currently live and work in MD. I go to church in MD and DC (Grace). I’m in a place that was I think supposed to be temporary but its been over a year. I’m looking for a change, possibly room mates because I’ve been on my own for awhile.
I don’t have a car right now but hoping to change that soon, but in the interest of that I need to be close to public transportation for work and other everyday activities. My job is at the end of the blue line in Largo, MD. I don’t have any pets but would like a pet friendly home.
I was raised in a Christian home and have a personal relationship with Jesus. So as far as room mates, I seek that same bond.
I pay $600 right now and could probably go up a couple hundred.
I’ve just moved to the area from Boston and am working at an international health care organization in Rosslyn. I’m a 22yr old female and attended Park St Church in Boston while I was at school there. I’m a very easy-going and clean roommate, and I am hoping to find someone similar!
Right now I’m looking for a room or a 1br studio or apartment for a month to month or short-term lease so that I can get settled in the city and get to know it a little better before I commit to a year lease! My budget is *ideally* no more than $1000/month for rent & utilities.
Please send me an email if you think you have something that might work
Peace,
Lauren
