I am a college student from Dordt College (a small Christian college in Iowa) looking for housing in the DC area for the summer months. I am currently interning and studying with an off-campus program here in the city and hoping to extend that internship through the summer (mid-May to mid August). I am looking for a Christian family/couple willing to rent a room for the summer months. I think the opportunity to ask to spend the summer surrounded by a Christian family (sharing the same ideals as myself) is too good to pass up. Need a temporary place to stay (for a week)

I’m an international student from Indonesia, currently studying in University of California – Davis. I’m interning at DC for the quarter (Jan-March 12). My dorm lease is about to end and I have to leave the dorm by March 13th.

I’m graduating at the end of this quarter and I’m planning to travel the east coast before returning to California.

I need a temporary place to stay for about one week (March 13-19, 2010). I don’t mind paying a portion of electricity/rent/water when I’m there and don’t mind sleeping on a sofa or on the floor.

I prefer a place in DC, or near DC that has access to the Metro – just because I don’t have a car. Prefer to stay with female.

Vacation rental needed May 16-23rd

I’m looking for a place to rent near D.C. for my family for a one week vacation May 16-23rd.

We have 6 children ages 4 – 13, so there are 8 of us, but we have no objection to kids using sleeping bags on the floor if the place is small. One bedroom is enough (we’ll be out seeing the city most of the time anyway).

CM looking for one year lease

I am a 23-year-old male, generally unobtrusive.
My lease in Arlington ends in May, and I will need a place to live as of June 1. I need a minimum one year lease, with male or female roommate. I have my own furniture, so I do not need anything furnished, and am looking to pay a maximum of $700/month including utilities. I’ll live anywhere in DC that is within 10-15 minutes walking distance of a metro station, in any neighborhood in NW, as far as 10th street NE and SE. I’d prefer not to live in SW DC.
I am very tolerant. What goes on in your bedroom is your business. All I ask is that you keep it quiet and legal. I need someone who will be willing to split household chores (this has been an issue for me) and not overly reclusive. I’m pretty friendly and I hope you are too. CF seeking housing to share or solo

Hi I’m Suzanne.
I currently live and work in MD. I go to church in MD and DC (Grace). I’m in a place that was I think supposed to be temporary but its been over a year. I’m looking for a change, possibly room mates because I’ve been on my own for awhile.
I don’t have a car right now but hoping to change that soon, but in the interest of that I need to be close to public transportation for work and other everyday activities. My job is at the end of the blue line in Largo, MD. I don’t have any pets but would like a pet friendly home.
I was raised in a Christian home and have a personal relationship with Jesus. So as far as room mates, I seek that same bond.
I pay $600 right now and could probably go up a couple hundred.

1 BR Short-Term in NW DC

I’ve just moved to the area from Boston and am working at an international health care organization in Rosslyn. I’m a 22yr old female and attended Park St Church in Boston while I was at school there. I’m a very easy-going and clean roommate, and I am hoping to find someone similar!

Right now I’m looking for a room or a 1br studio or apartment for a month to month or short-term lease so that I can get settled in the city and get to know it a little better before I commit to a year lease! My budget is *ideally* no more than $1000/month for rent & utilities.
