Equipping Christians to more effectively build bridges and communicate to non-Christians.

Grace DC, Christ our Shepherd and Church of the Resurrection host Prof Jerram Barrs for a free conference on Engaging Contemporary Culture, this weekend, Jan 23-24 at Calvary Baptist Church.

For those of you who are interested in a post-conference follow-up gathering, join us this Sunday at 3:30pm @ Calvary Baptist Church, Kendall Room #1 (directions: when you enter the main doors, go straight across the foyer and the room will be on your left). We’ll spend some time in small groups moving from the theoretical to the concrete—discussing some key concepts (e.g., “Echoes of Eden”), reflecting upon practical implications (e.g., What does it really mean to treat your non-Christian friend’s questions with respect? What can you do to learn more about what he/she thinks and believes?), and praying for God’s help in specific relationships you have.
