CF looking for housing ($850) in NoVA or Wash DC - June 30 or July 1
I am an early 30s Christian female (born on the East Coast, most recently from California) looking for housing with other Christian females with a move-in date of June 30 or July 1. Past roommates would describe me as neat, responsible, laidback, respectful, and fun, with a Christian faith that is central to who I am. I also value community, and think it is important to not just share a space, but also occasionally a meal and some laughs too. I’d love to live with women who share these characteristics.
I am looking for room in an apartment or house within walking distance (or very short bus ride along a frequent route) of a Metro station, preferably with a parking space and a somewhat flexible lease. If it sounds like we may be a fit, please contact me. I look forward to hearing from you!

CF with dog looking for housing on the Hill
Hi!
I’m moving to DC from Boulder in August for a new job, and am looking for a group home near the Hill. I’d love to be with a group of Christian women – the more the merrier! I have a very sweet and mellow medium sized dog who is super easy to live with and something of a couch potato. I love hospitality – cooking and having new and old friends over for meals (or just ice cream!). I’m hoping to move mid-August to get settled in. Happy to chat on the phone and send dog photos, too

CF seeking housing for June 1
Hello, I’m starting an internship in downtown DC on June 4th and am searching for housing preferably starting June 1. I’m a recent college graduate planning to move to DC long term, but I’m open to either a short-term sublet until I get settled or something more permanent, whatever is available. Easy metro access preferred.
I’ve lived with roommates all through college and am pretty easy going, love to hang out, and am more than happy to do extra dishes. Please let me know of any accommodations you may know of!

Soon To Be Married - Looking for Housing >$1600
Looking for something less than $1600, walking distance to metro (20 min or less). I work in Ballston and she works in DC (Union Station), so she plans to take the metro. I’m thinking something on the orange or red lines, but am open to others. I’d prefer a house but I know that’s a lot to ask at that price. Given our requirements, I have been looking in Arlington (close for me) or Bethesda (red line for her), but will consider anything east of the city. Would prefer VA or MD but will consider DC locations. 1BR minimum, 2BR or garage are HUGE plusses.
Thanks!

CM looking for housing in NE DC
I’m a young CM, moving to the city in a couple of weeks for a new job. My job is a little far away, so I’d prefer a place in northeast DC to make my commute a little easier. I’d also prefer easy access to a metro line.
I would love to have Christian roommates. I’m clean and respectful, always up for hanging out, playing a sport, going out or whatever. Email me if you’ve got a place for me.

Christian Male Seeking Room for Fall in West D.C. or Arlington (Close to American U)
I’m a 24-year-old soon-to-be grad student at American University looking for a room for the fall. I’m moving up from West Palm Beach, FL, so I don’t know the area all that well, but I would love to live in Christ-centered community somewhere in or near the metro area.
I’m open to living far from campus if there is easy access to the metro.
I’m an organized guy who loves music, writing, running and traveling anywhere possible. I attended the University of Florida for my undergrad, and shortly after I went on an 11-month missions trip to 11 countries called the World Race, so I also enjoy cooking all types of food.

Christian female looking for housing on the hill
As my ad mentioned, I am a Christian female looking for housing in the Capital Hill district. I will be working in Eastern Market in the beginning of June and would love to share a home with other like-minded women! I will be graduating from Taylor University in Indiana this Saturday and will migrate to the city soon after (it’s about time!). I am an extremely laid back living mate who wishes she’d exercise more but instead kicks it with a good book and the occasional glass of wine. I’m also creative, love to write (thanks to my major), and enjoy relaxing evenings with a good t.v. series. While I wish my budget was bigger, I can only afford rent $600 or below.
If you liked my musings and have a wonderful, little room available, please send me an email at hillarypmay@gmail.com. I would love to connect you!

CF looking for a room in DC starting in late May/ early June
Hello! I am moving to DC at the end May/ early June and am looking for room or house share for at least the summer and possibly longer. I work near Union Station and would ideally like to live near there. However, having to commute wouldn’t be a problem. I’m looking for something $650 or less.
I’m not too picky about size and a shared bathroom is fine. I’m allergic to cats, but I love dogs. I love to have people over and would like to be able to have overnight guests every once in a while.

CF needs roommates/housing mid may
I am looking for roommates and housing starting the 3rd or 4th week of May. I will be transitioning from an internship to full time employment somewhere out here, and could need a place for a much longer period of time depending on the job.
I am a recent college graduate from near Chicago IL, a conservative, respectful, very outgoing, and looking for a friendly living environment. I am very social, but as I am new to the city, I am still making friends. I enjoy theatre, dancing, cooking, outdoor activities and am very adventurous. I attend Church, and during the week I generally go to bed early.
I think it would be great to share a apt or townhouse with some other young CF’s. I am looking to be close to the metro and would love a place with a pool/gym, I would also welcome pets! I am not super familiar with the DC area, but I hear that somewhere like Arlington may have more reasonable housing, but still accessible to downtown D.C.
Please get back to me with anymore information that you may have on what you are looking for, more about yourselves etc. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you! Feel free to email me at: amanda.martin1213@gmail.com

Searching for Summer Housing
Hello,
My name is Cheryl, I’m from Atlanta and I’ll be working in D.C. for the summer from June 11th till Sept. 3rd, 2012. I’d love to find a place really close to downtown where I’ll be working, but I am flexible as long as there is a good metro stop or bike path
In addition, I’m also married and my husband will be traveling back and forth from Atlanta to D.C. We’re Christians who really value community and would love to plug in somewhere while were here.
Ideally, we are looking for something really affordable because of our additional travel expenses. But we’d love to get a chance to live with some strong believers, and possibly going on some fun adventures exploring the city.
Thanks–if you have a spare room–we hope to hear from you
Cheryl
P.S. we would totally be up for a house swap…if anyone wanted to barter staying in Atlanta for the summer for their sweet digs in D.C.

German sister in Christ looking for new home
My name is Elisabeth Jane Walker, I am German and moving to MD for grad school this summer. It´s all settled, I just need a place to stay at, preferrably close to/in College Park.
I will be a full time Grad student at UMD from fall term 2012 on for 2 years. I will also have a 25% time assistant teaching position there.I am looking for a place where I can stay for little rent but help in return where help is needed.
I am 27 years old, Christ´s beloved daugther, and so far God has given me a diploma in gardening and the undergrad degree in landscape architecture. I am experienced with taking care of kiddos or looking after elder people. I grew up with dogs, cats& horses.
I love the outdoors as well as child&youth ministries and skits in my church here in Bavaria. I am still learning to get more structure into my a little chaotic lifestyle, but I am patient, reliable and faithful. I am easy going and, maybe that comes along with being a missionary´s daughter, I am easily satisfied and thankful for the small things.
German is my mothertongue but I am fluent in English, took Spanish for 5 years as well as Latin, and I have a German driver´s licence(which I will have to update in MD).
If you can help me or know someone who might, please email me.
Thank you very much,
with kind regards from Munich!

CF PhD Student Seeks Affordable Housing for up to 1 month (May 7 or 10 to June 8)
I will be conducting dissertation research in DC area archives for 3-4 weeks beginning May 7 or May 10. I will be visiting the National Archives at College Park as well as the Smithsonian and Library of Congress in DC during the weekdays, and out sightseeing or working on my laptop on the weekends. If you have a vacant apartment or bedroom (furnished with at least a bed) during this time, or even a den w/space for an air mattress, please let me know.
I will not have a car, so close walking proximity to the metro (any line) is a must. I would also hope to have access to a bathroom w/shower and the kitchen. If available, desk space, too, as I will be spending some evenings/weekend days writing my dissertation.
I have Christian friends in DC and I also interned in DC during the summers of 2006 and ’07, so I can provide local references, if required.

CF from OSU needs summer housing in DC Area :)
Hello,
My name is Estera. I am a grad student at The Ohio State University and will be doing an internship in DC this summer (June-August).
I’m interested in short-term housing in the DC area. I am flexible with the number of roommates and the rent price.
If you have an opening, please contact me at e.pirosca@ifiusa.org.
Thank you very much.
Blessings,
Estera

CF looking for DC area housing
I am a recent Hillsdale College graduate who recently arrived in the area for a Capitol Hill internship that runs through August. I am looking to rent a room, or to share a room in a house or apartment (additionally, if you are a CF currently looking for housing and might be interested in apartment-hunting together, feel free to contact me). I am looking for a place available to move in within the next few months and look to stay at least through August.
As for location, I prefer the Capitol Hill or Eastern Market areas but am open to others as long as they are Metro accessible. A kitchen (or kitchen access) and on-site laundry are a must.
My church background is Reformed/reformed baptist. I am in my early 20’s and a recent college graduate who is very clean, organized, and considerate. I enjoy reading, baking, and singing. My current internship ends in August but I am actively applying to other internships and full time positions in the area.
I am more than happy to provide a list of references to potential landlords or roommates, which includes the contact information of one of my previous pastors.
Thank you for your time!

CF needs 1 bedroom walking distance to metro
I am looking for a 1BR shared in a townhome/apartment starting early or mid-May 2012.
These are my preferences:
- Walking distance to any metro stop is a MUST
- Rental includes utilities (water, electricity, gas). I don’t mind to pay extra for internet.
- Unfurnished or furnishedAbout me: I am a CF young professional. I am in my late 20s. I am clean, tidy and very respectful of others privacy. And would expect my roommate to be the same.
