| Bob Baldwin Bob and his wife, Jean, have lived in Washington, D.C. since 1990. Jean has her own educational consulting business and Bob works as a commercial real estate mortgage banker based in Washington, D.C. Their two children, Tom and Emily are now in Chicago and Boston, respectively, pursuing graduate degrees.Bob and Jean attended McLean Presbyterian Church (MPC) in McLean, Va. where Bob was an elder for many years. They were involved in the early stages of prayer and planning for a church plant in Washington, D.C. which resulted in the establishment of Grace DC. Many good friends were left at MPC when after 15 years they moved full time to worship at Grace DC. But the challenges and blessings of being called to participate in the birth of a new church have more than compensated. God has prodded and poked and pulled both of them into situations and relationships that have demanded and produced new insights into God’s goodness. And the truth of the Community of God that works together to pursue righteousness and justice and mercy is a growing reality for them. |

| Andy Neal Andy and Beth caught their first glimpse of ministering to cities at ChristChurch Presbyterian in Atlanta, GA, the first church they attended as a married couple. When they first moved to DC so Beth could attend St. John’s College, they had every intention of moving back to Atlanta after Beth graduated. But soon they had fallen in love with the Washington and its people, especially a little eclectic group who dreamed of a church in the District bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to a city where the weak and poor live alongside the powerful and mighty. Since then, they have enjoyed seeing their family grow as Grace DC has become a church and as God has collected people from around the United States and the world to learn love Him, one another, and DC. They have been equally grateful that God has given them a beautiful daughter, Ailene. Andy is excited to see God’s renewal come to Washington, and he is humbled to serve the members of Grace DC as an elder. |
