An Authentic Community
October 26th, 2008 by Glenn Hoburg The power of the early church was not only due to the good news which they had to share, but also how that news was shared: in Word and Deed. These have always been the twin power, the two wings of the message of God’s grace, and when only one is presented it is a false gospel. The judgment of Ananias and Sapphira wasn’t because they refused to give all their money to the church, it was because they sought to introduce a false gospel.
