‘Plan B’
November 17th, 2004 by Glenn HoburgPlan “A” is our ideal plan, our first choice. Yet, because our wisdom is finite and we are subject to circumstances beyond our control all good planners have a Plan “B” for contingencies. However, God is different. He is not blindsided by circumstances or stumped, so He acts according to Plan A. Sometimes having a plan B is being a responsible human, other times it is a repudiation of a Plan A God–refusing to believe He is able and willing. Abram and Sarai learn to live with a Plan A God.
